By downloading, installing, or using the SEAL application, Chrome extension, or website at sealthing.com (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EU/EEA) to use SEAL. By using the Service you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at sealapp26@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
You agree not to create accounts by automated means, impersonate others, or provide false information.
SEAL offers a free tier and a paid subscription ("Seal Pro").
You agree not to:
You retain ownership of the words, sentences, and notes you save in SEAL ("User Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process your User Content solely to provide the Service to you.
We do not claim ownership of your User Content, and we do not use it to train AI models or share it with third parties beyond what is described in our Privacy Policy.
SEAL uses Google Gemini AI to generate definitions and translations. AI-generated content may occasionally be inaccurate. We do not guarantee the correctness of AI outputs and are not liable for decisions made based on them. Always verify critical information from authoritative sources.
The SEAL name, logo, app design, and all original content (excluding User Content) are owned by or licensed to us. You may not use our trademarks or branding without prior written permission.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. Use the Service at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SEAL and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account in the app. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via an in-app notice or email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of the jurisdiction in which we operate.
